History

History

Born in 2376 in New Berlin on Luna, Robert grew up in a nurturing environment. His mother, Dr. Catherine Anderson, is a well-known child psychologist, and his father, Dr. David Anderson, serves as a Chief Medical Officer on Starbase 57. With such a background, it’s no surprise that Robert developed an early interest in mental health and Starfleet service.

Encouraged by his family’s history in both medicine and Starfleet, Robert enrolled at Starfleet Medical Academy at age 18. He focused on psychiatry, earning high marks for his compassion and intellectual abilities. He pursued additional training in trauma counseling and xeno-sociology to prepare for the vast diversity of species he would encounter in Starfleet.

Graduating in 2401, Robert completed his residency with distinction. His first assignment was as a counselor aboard the USS Valkyrie. The transition to life aboard a starship marks a significant step in his career, where he will face the unique mental health challenges of a diverse and active crew.
