Bravo Fleet
Summary
The USS San Clemente’s ship Counsellor. She joined the crew shortly after the crew of the USS T’Kara were transferred aboard. A natural telepath, as with many Betazoids, she is an ideal addition to the ships compliment and supports them through their missions and beyond.
Appearance
A slim build with striking dark eyes and long, dark hair often worn loose. Her skin has an olive skin tone
She’s slim, with a height of 5’3”.
Personality
Prides herself in being a trusted confidante to many crew members and officers alike. He maintains a professional but warm relationship with the crew.
An expert in psychological counselling, conflict resolution, and stress management. Sora’s empathic abilities sometimes leave her vulnerable to the emotions of the crew and visitors, a challenge she faces daily but one not new to her.
History
Early Life (2371-2393)
Born on Betazed into a family of empathic counsellors, Sora demonstrated strong telepathic abilities from a young age. She pursued Starfleet training focused on psychological health and crew welfare, combining traditional Betazoid empathy with Starfleet protocols.
Starfleet Academy (2393-2397)
She commissioned into Starfleet at 22 years old and attended Starfleet Academy. Venn pursued the Counselling track with a focus on psychology. Her natural empathy made her a ‘go to’ to assist her fellow cadets, this gave her the opportunity to manage the ability to be around those not emotionally disciplined. By graduation, she had built a reputation as someone her classmates trusted.
Starbase Bravo (2397-2402)
Fresh out of the Academy in 2397, Lt. (JG) Sora Venn reported to Starbase Bravo, one of Starfleet’s most important hubs along the Federation frontier. Bravo was as much a bustling city as it was a Starbase. For a young counsellor, it gave her an ideal place to prove herself in the field.
Her natural Betazoid empathy, coupled with her Academy training, allowed her to assist when differences between crews and species would come to a head. She also often worked duties in the counselling wards after starships returned from long or hazardous assignments, helping their officers and enlisted personnel in their recoveries.
During her time on Bravo, she continued to learn how to control her own mental boundaries, learning not to be overwhelmed by the constant tide of emotions from those around her.
By 2402, she had earned a promotion to full Lieutenant.. Her time on Starbase Bravo gave her the professional ability that prepared her for her next assignment aboard the USS San Clemente.
USS San Clemente (2402-Present)
When she heard the story of the USS T’Kara, she quickly volunteered to assist with their care. Feeling immense empathy for the crew of the T’Kara and what they’d endured she wanted to be a part of their transition. Upon hearing the majority of the surviving crew members remained within Starfleet, staying together on board the USS San Clemente she took on the role of Counsellor on board.
