Summary
A former tactical officer, Len Hopad previously served aboard U.S.S. Congo leading away teams into dangerous situations. Hopad is extremely independent and has strong opinions, which led him to jump at the chance for his first command. Due to his half-Betazoid nature, Hopad often has a sixth sense for danger that he doesn’t hesitate to use to his advantage.
Appearance
Len has short-cut dark hair and the black eyes typical of Betazoids, but surprisingly warm and inviting. He sports some facial hair that he keeps neatly trimmed and stands at about 178 cm.
Personality
Len is strong-willed and often makes decisions based on his Betazoid intuition. He sometimes has trouble putting into words the reasons for a decision that is based on an empathetic reading.
History
Hopad was born on Betazed. His father, Torin Hopad, was a Betazed minister, while his mother was a Starfleet liaison officer. As a child, Len was athletic and participated in school sports. As a tactical officer, he was often called on to lead particularly hazardous missions.
