Lieutenant Selik was the Chief Flight Control Officer of the USS Serenity until his death on April 14, 2402 during the Vaadwaur crisis. Gifted with deep spatial acuity, he had a knack for making a starship perform impossible maneuvers, but his Vulcan sense of logic led him to often question the success of his plans based on statistical probability that did not adequately account for his own personal skills behind the conn.
