Promoted to Fleet Captain

  This promotion for Captain Erill'Yun Mek (aka Wooz) to Fleet Captain is undoubtedly worthy of huge celebration and pride for the whole of Bravo Fleet. Joining the Fleet Captain ‘club’ is an important milestone in any of our members’ journey. It shows their commitment and willingness to participate in our community and contribute considerably to its leadership. Wooz is one of our steadfast members and has tirelessly demonstrated his commitment and dedication to Bravo Fleet in many aspects. This promotion is a great way to highlight them and thank him for his hard work, effort and loyalty to its members.
  
  Since his promotion to captain on September 18th, 2021, Wooz has taken on many roles. When he became a captain, he was Task Force 86’s CO, a position he performed exceptionally well in until April 2022. While 86’s leader, he showed excitement and passion for Task Force management by the way he engaged with every member regularly. He built up a strong community within our family, and when we needed someone to take on the reigns of Task Force 17, he had no hesitation in transferring over and doing the same again. Not only has he developed a strong team in both Task Forces that he has led, but he has also been an incredible mentor and role model for those members who have been Task Force Executive Officers. However, his energy and effort have not stopped there. Wooz became our Deputy Operations Officer in early January 2022. Being our most seasoned TFCO, he didn’t shy away from supporting his fellow TFCOs and supporting me when I took over as Operations Officer at the end of March. Not only has he helped with Task Force-related matters, but Wooz has also helped with our Role-Playing Game elements. A Game Manager himself, Wooz, has shared his opinions and thoughts around RPG development. His insights and ideas are always welcomed and appreciated. I am grateful, especially now he has moved onto his role as Deputy Intel Officer, that he remains as a Staff Assistant with a focus on our RPGs.
  
  As mentioned, he has been managing the USS Altai RPG, making it one of our most successful games for our members to enjoy. The Altai gives its members a quality place to share their passion for Trek writing with their fellow BF members, and it would not exist if it weren’t for Wooz’s responsible stewardship of the game.
  
  Over the past twelve months, Wooz has earned many medals to reflect his hard work in many areas. From the Jonathan Archer Order of Merit last September to the Star for Distinguished Service at the end of 2021, to the Star Cross earned in May 2022 and most recently, his Legion Of Merit. With a mixed high amount of duty ribbons, service ribbons, competition participation, competition creations, competition placing, gaming ribbons and challenge coins, Wooz has set the bar for so many of our members to be inspired by.
  
  Wooz, you are a terrific role model for Bravo Fleet, so it is my pleasure and honour to promote you to Fleet Captain! Congratulations!!

  The Intelligence Office feels that Wooz's contributions have only just begun. But they've already started strong with Wooz taking a leading role developing the new lore for Task Force 17; specifically, the wiki articles for the Typhon Frontier and Deep Space 17, helping his TF's storylines move in a bold new direction. In addition, he has made several key contributions to the Tech Team, most notably with the article for the brand-new Sutherland-class. I expect to see future awards and promotions mention further contributions to fleet canon, but am delighted to express my gratitude for his work so far with my support for this promotion. Congratulations!

Promoted to Commander

• Woozamagoo, whom we affectionately refer to as Wooz time is of the essence, is a newer member to Bravo Fleet, but also one of our most active. Since his last promotion in January, he has amassed 73 Service Ribbons for 18,250 words of fiction and 7 Duty Ribbons for posts on RPGs, including the Altai which he GMs. He also participated in 7 competitions and placed in 5 of them, earning 1 Action Medal with Galaxy Cluster, 3 with Star Clusters, and 1 with a Planet Cluster, which represents both a lot of activity and a lot of high-quality submissions. 9,382 words of Woozamagoo’s fiction were contributions to the Archanis Campaign. Contributing to department-sponsored events is something we hope that we hope all members will consider, so it’s laudable to be a model for others in this way.

  Last month, Woozamagoo also stepped up into the role of TF86 Commanding Officer, after a very short time as Task Force Executive Officer, but he’s already demonstrated that he’s up for the job, having organized three fleet-wide competitions on behalf of his task force and ably handling activity award nominations, with the smallest Task Force staff in the fleet. We are sure that TF86 will flourish under Woozamagoo’s leadership and can’t wait to see what’s in store!

  For considerable activity and these noted contributions to the fleet, I am pleased to nominate Woozamagoo for promotion to Commander.
