Th'lora Vehl's Rank Record

  • Promoted to Fleet Captain

    • Excited, thrilled, and elated are just some of the words we could use to describe this moment! It’s time to celebrate a massive achievement in Bravo Fleet! This promotion is for one of our longest-serving Task Force Commanding Officers and a member of ours that gets involved in many aspects of Bravo Fleet life! Since achieving the rank of Captain in February 2022, Captain Th'lora Vehl (aka Alekia Nuroz/Brian) has continued with his dedication and work to our great community. Joining the Fleet Captain ‘club’ is a momentous milestone in any of our members’ journey. It shows their devotion and willingness to participate in our community and contribute considerably to its leadership. This promotion is a great way to highlight this and thank him for his hard work, effort and loyalty to our members.

Firstly, he has served over a year as Task Force 72’s Commanding Officer. An impressive feat, where he has supported, encouraged and guided many of our members to do great things. He has submitted numerous nominations for awards and promotions while always engaging with our members on Discord. He usually is one of the first to welcome new members into our community and show them the ropes, explains how things work and where to go for help in their first few days of joining us. Brian is active across many channels on our Discord server, so it's no surprise so many of our members have got to know him in many areas of our discussions and shared interests.

He is a role model in engaging with the activity; this is reflected in the three monumental awards he has received in the last twelve months. Firstly, he was awarded the Star Cross on April 4th 2022, followed by the Rachel Garret Order of Heroism at the end of July 2022 and the Legion of Merit at the end of the year. All of these represent a wide range of activities. From competition entries and creations to writing fiction independently and collaboratively to gaming entries galore! He builds and builds on top of so many activities and produces so much for our members. It's no wonder why he was recognised with such prestigious Bravo Fleet awards over the last year.

Most recently, he has participated in fourteen of our competitions, earning one Action Medal with Comet Cluster, four Action Medals with Moon Cluster, an impressive seven Action Medals with Planet Cluster and two Action Medals with Star Cluster. Alongside this, he has earned forty-five Combat Action Ribbons and five Strategic Action Ribbons for various gaming activities, and to top it off, he has achieved a Duty Ribbon for kick-starting the Task Force 72 Priority Mission with his former Task Force Executive Officer. This is just a small slice of what he can achieve when he places so much effort in to our community. Brian is a keen member that enjoys so many angles of what is available. He has set the bar for so many of our members to be inspired by.

Without further delay, we are pleased to promote Th’lora Vehl to the rank of Fleet Captain after an impressive year. Keep it up, Fleet Captain Th’lora Vehl! We are keen to see what the next twelve months bring!

  • Promoted to Captain

    • Promotion to the rank of captain represents a significant milestone in any member’s progress in Bravo Fleet, both because it is the most iconic rank in Star Trek lore, but also because it is the highest rank that most members can achieve on pure activity alone. Since his field promotion to commander on August 14th, 2021, Commander Th’lora Vehl’s personal activity has been outstanding, as recognized by their Jonathan Archer Order of Merit on September 23rd, 2021 and by their Star for Distinguished Service on December 8th, 2021, both of which recognize substantial and sustained levels of activity.

As evidenced by their recent contributions, Commander Vehl’s activity is varied across all aspects of the fleet’s offerings, which is essential for success at higher ranks. Since their last recognition, they have participated and placed in several competitions, earning eleven Action Medals, two with Star Clusters, five with Planet Clusters, and four with Moon Clusters. For their personal fiction, they have earned nine service ribbons, for 2,180 words written, and for writing on the Aquarius, they have earned eleven duty ribbons for eleven joint posts written. For playing Among Us through the gaming office, they earned thirty-six combat action ribbons, representing important contributions across two separate gaming nights. This breadth of activity is commendable.

As a leader, Commander Vehl has led Task Force 72 for just over two months, starting on December 14th, 2021. There, TF72 has continued to see good progress in the advancement of its junior officers and a vibrant community on Discord. Indeed, their leadership qualities have been recognized for prior service as Task Force 72 Executive Officer as well during their most recent award.

For the activity described here and recognized by their two most recent medals, as well as leadership of Task Force 72, I am pleased to nominate Commander Th’lora Vehl for promotion to the rank of captain, effective immediately. Congratulations, Captain!
    • For just over a month and a bit, Commander Th’lora Vehl took on the role of Deputy Chief of Staff. Though their tenure was short, their impact on the Office of the Chief of Staff was incredible. Their hard work in ensuring ribbons, awards, promotions and competitions getting out in a reasonable time was what kept the day to day operations of OCS ticking over. Though they moved on to other leadership roles in our great community, OCS will always appreciate their contributions in making sure that our members were rewarded for their contributions.

As a result, I fully support this promotion to captain!

  • Promoted to Lieutenant Commander

    • It’s no surprise that this promotion has come through in such a timely and orderly manner as Brian certainly deserves it! After spending two amazing weeks as Lieutenant it now time to promote him to Lieutenant Commander! He has truly been active and has achieved what is expected of someone to progress further. In most areas he has gone beyond that! So why should we celebrate Brian’s promotion? Well here are the reasons!

Since his last promotion he has reached Level 16 in Discord, it’s not the same without Brian now! We love hearing his thoughts and ideas on a range of matters. He has created five characters and listed them on BFMS and has published a detailed biography for his own character. Placing in four competitions, Brian has also reached first in two competitions! Alongside this, he was awarded thirty-two combat action ribbons a day after his promotion to Lieutenant for being involved in the recent Gaming Evening. For all of this activity and so much more he awarded the Medal of Achievement as the Task Force Senior Staff truly wanted to recognise how amazing he has been doing!

For all of this we want to say well done to Brian for his continued commitment to our community and cannot wait to see where he takes things now he has the rank of Lieutenant Commander! Well done Brian!! – Commodore Zack Marshall-Bennet

  • Promoted to Lieutenant

    • Another incredible week for Brian as he works through so much activity! Brian, as many of our members will know him on Discord as Treylana Hess and many of them would have encountered him at some point or another as he is so involved in many discussions. As such he has surpassed the criteria of being Level 6 on our BF Discord channel (Level 10 as of 25/5/21)! Not only is he active there, but he has entered eight competitions and placed in the top 3 in 3 of those competitions (so far). We cannot wait to see how he does in the others he has entered! Finally he has joined the Chief of Staff office as a Staff Assistant, we look forward to seeing more of his contributions to our great community! We are so pleased to see someone else in TF17 enjoying their time in Bravo Fleet and truly believe Brian is worthy of the promotion to lieutenant! Well done Brian!

  • Promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade

    • Brian joined our Task Force over a week ago and has showed an incredible amount of activity in such a short amount of time, that he truly deserves this promotion. Reaching Level 5 on our Discord shortly after his promotion, he continued with his awesome activity through participation in competitions which included him placing in 1 of them. Not stopping there he also followed BF on our Facebook page! A great start to his time here in Bravo Fleet! We look forward to more amazing activity! Well done!
