Star for Distinguished Service

The Star for Distinguished Service is awarded for exceptional levels of service or activity to a member's Task Force or the Fleet. Taking on projects for a unit or fleet office, coupled with or supplemented by exceptional levels of general activity, are often recognized with this award.

  • Nominated by a TFXO or higher.

  • All nominations must provide evidence, proof, and/or testimony that the nominee is deserving of the award.

  • All nominations will be reviewed in full by Office of the Chief of Staff, who will decide to approve or reject the award.
