Summary
Vorel comes from an unfortunate background, and is committed to never go back there. His actions reflect this – no matter the cost. He studies at one of Liraxa IV’s main universities.
Appearance
Vorel has dark hair and dark eyes – both reflective of his personality. He’s tall, but not handsome. Athletic but not muscular.
Personality
Vorel is not terribly intelligent, but he knows how to manipulate people. It’s what landed him his spot at university. He is business-savvy and well-off, and he likes to flaunt his wealth whenever appropriate (or not).
History
Vorel Syn was one of the Liraxan scholars assisting Starfleet in recovering and repairing an ancient artefact that had the potential to bring peace to divided tribes of his homeward. Instead, however, he destroyed the artefact just moments before completion.
During an interrogation, he admitted to having invested into weapons, and thus having a financial interest in keeping the war going.
He was returned to Liraxa IV, but due to his connections to powerful leaders, didn’t face any punishment for his crime.
He later died during the civil war that broke out in response to the Elder’s decision not to implement the telepathic field Starfleet had suggested as substitute for the artefact.
