Early Life (2377 – 2395)

Kate was born on a small ranch in Texas on March 28th, 2377. As she grew up she was all about being outside, and was fascinated by stars and space. As she entered middle school she begun to learn about Starfleet, and Other Important Federation History. By end of Middle School(2384-2391) she was determined to join Starfleet due to the Tensions rising between the Federation and Romulans. She was even more determined after 2385 and 2387 when the Synths attacked, destroyed Utopia Planitia, and Romulan Supernova occurred.

When she entered High School, which was 2391-2395 the Federation was more or less at peace, But Kate knew Starfleet, Nothing ever stayed peaceful for long. She began to do track, in order to prepare for Starfleet Academy, The High School  Teachers and coaches helped her refine her career pathway towards Criminal Justice.

Starfleet Academy And Training Cruise  (2395 – 2400)

As Kate entered the academy, discussions among cadets frequently revolved around raids of trading ships between the Federation and the Cardassian Union. Some cadets even speculated that they might be fast-tracked due to these events. Senior cadets who had experienced the attacks in 2385 and 2387 were still being fast-tracked. Kate began pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and also joined the Academy track team, where she performed well.

At the conclusion of her years at the Academy, she was assigned to the USS Exeter for her cadet cruise. During this critical phase of her training, Kate not only adapted quickly to the demands of life on a starship but also excelled in her duties. Her performance earned her commendations from her superiors and showcased her unwavering commitment to her training and the principles of starship service.

Criminal Justice  & Early Career (2401 – Current)

Kate enrolled in the Academy with the goal of obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice, inspired by her father’s legacy as a dedicated police officer in their hometown of Austin. Throughout her studies, she found herself deeply engaged in every aspect of the course, from studying criminal law to participating in hands-on training exercises. Her passion for the subject and commitment to excellence shone through, and by the end of her time at the Academy, she had earned the impressive distinction of ranking second in her class. This achievement not only demonstrated her hard work and determination but also reinforced her aspiration to serve her community in law enforcement just as her father had done.
