Main Bridge
Deck 02
The bridge is located on Deck Two. The Captain's chair sits at the center, the First Officer is seated to the right. A third seat is present for another officer, or visiting guest that has been given permission to join the crew on the bridge. The first officer chair is equipped with a manual steering column. Unlike the bridges aboard ships like a Galaxy-class, the additional seats do not include side consoles. Behind the Captain's seat is Tactical/Security console, where that particular officer stands. The Helm and Operations console are located in front of the Captain's chair, at the fore of the bridge just in front of the main viewscreen. The consoles set into the rear wall are able to be configured at the discretion of the crew. The Fresno under Captain Dart's command places 3 stations at the rear of the ship. As one faces towards the rear of the bridge, the leftmost panel would be reserved for a readout of Engineering functions. While the Chief Engineer's place is most often down in Engineering, this officer will sometimes coordinate at this station directly with the crew of the bridge. The Science Officer is assigned to the middle panel, and the Communications Officer's panel is the rightmost section.
