USS Blythe

California-class • NCC-12114 • Task Force 86 • Managed by LCDR Traan

‘This used to be a cool fun ship to cruise around and do neat stuff in…no really, before this zannyness with the Vaadwaur, it was a wicked fun ship to serve on. But then the Vaadwaur came…and we’ve been stuck here, ion welded to this silly asteroid since the first shot was fired over 3 and half months ago. 3 and a half!!! That’s like more then a 100 days….and man, these emergency rations suck boss!!!… When we getting out of here?’  – June 20, 2402, quote from Petty Officer Dalton Morris

Writers notes-

The command haa just begun the ‘Cetacean Story Arc’, episode list-

BD1.1- No food, No Funerals, No Flippers, No Fun

BD1.2- Briefings, Booze, and Forlorn Felont

BD1.3- Is that Kerrs Tea Alley (Intro by Tesa)

BD1.4- The gangly fish, In the Water

Summary- With the 3 survivors of the ships recent crash landing, and a new cobbled together crew of misfits. Commander Tyler must now lead his understaffed but well motivated crew through missions ranging from the mundane, to the exhilerrating through to the outright bizarre.

Theme and style notes: The general theme is lighthearted and fast placed, with plenty of trekno babble, thought provoking fan service, and comedy. There will be stylistic and tonal differences between the Senior Command(CO/XO) being more typical ‘Trek’ in style and tone. While stories from the ‘Bottom Deckers'(represented by everyone else on the ship) will be grittier and explore some darker themes and be a vehicles for trek style social commentary and literary experimentation with under developed species/lifeforms.

The Thin Grey Line

USS Blythe, USS Culver City, USS Farragut, USS Sacramento, USS Salvation and USS Solvang

((USS Culver City, Bridge)) The Culver City cruised along the patrol route assigned to herself and the Blythe.  However, her transit was not passive; Command had tasked the two California-class ships to deploy a series of sensor buoys, so that Starbase 420 could keep a regular eye on the border [...]

((Conference Room 3, SB 420)) Starbase 420 was one of the original Anchorage class stations built in the 2340s and 50s. The class of station was what you could call one of the medium sized spaced station that Starfleet had spread out across their regions. Often used at sector HQs for regions that [...]
