Fresh off of a trade summit to Ferenginar alongside Columbia, Melbourne reaches the edge of the Typhon Expanse to begin a mission surveying a pulsar on the edge of the Ryton System. Within minutes of their arrival, a catastrophic systems failure strikes, rendering key systems across the ship useless. As emergency protocols are enacted, personnel are told to stay in place until otherwise instructed. For many, that means they’re locked in their quarters.

But as hours turn into days, with the power down and the lights out, there is little to do but wait. But in the darkness, voices tremble and people soon succumb to their fears…
