Part of Bravo Fleet: New Frontiers

USS Victory

Pilgims of the Veil (II)

In the wake of Orantei’s fall, the USS Victory takes on the shaken survivors of the USS Farragut, only to learn that the Pilgrims of the Veil have not retreated but are preparing for something far worse

Mission Description

This is the continuing mission of Pilgrims of the Veil, begun on the USS Farragut.

What begins as a mission of recovery soon turns into a pursuit: to hunt down the Pilgrims of the Veil, to understand the relics that embolden them, and to stop the infection of belief that is spreading through the Shackleton Expanse like wildfire. But as the Victory traces their path into the dark, it becomes clear that the Pilgrims are not fleeing: they are waiting.

Pilgrims: Coopting of Pala Ridge

USS Victory: Pilgims of the Veil (II)

Pala Ridge lay in a shallow bowl between two low, stony hills, a patchwork of fields and greenhouses stitched together by irrigation lines and dirt tracks. The soil was marginal but obedient and the weather control array on the far rise did just enough to keep the worst of the storms off the crops. [...]
