Location: USS Paso Robles, Bridge

The USS Paso Robles had managed to deliver its first day of delivery rounds, when a destroyed Vaadwuar patrol ship entered their sensor range. Renato looked over to his chief science officer. Ensign Kroll, please scan the ship for any life signs.”

Teral did as he has his asked, and as he completed his scan, he advised the captain. “I’m not detecting any life signs on board, Captain.”

“Ensign Kroll, are you detecting any power signatures coming from the debris?” Renato asked as he looked at the main viewer.

“No lifes no power signatures, I’m not even seeing any breathable pockets of atmosphere.” Teral advised his captain.

“Ensign T’Shan please finish within transporter range just to be on the safe side.”

Mira was curious, but she remained silent. She was curious why the captain was bringing them closer to the debris.

“Altering our course now captain.” T’Shan called out and she adjusted their course to bring him alongside the debris. She kept on just far enough outside of a potential blast radius.

“Lieutenant Thorne, please run a scan see if there’s any sections of the whole left I might give access to a computer core. I’m hoping we can download their computer logs.” Renato suggested out loud to everyone.

“I see a computer terminal access point near a section of the hole that appears to be a part of the engineering Bay. But I’m not sure if we’re going to be able to restore any of his systems.” Jaxon pointed out but lucky for him he wasn’t the guy that would have to do it or attempt to do it.

“Number one I want you taking away team over there and determine if you can access any other logs, but let’s do this cautiously download the information to a data pad separated from the computer core or computer corps.”

“I don’t know how much time you want us to have Captain but I’d recommend doing this in ev suites so we can get in there and out of there as soon as possible.” Mira suggested to the captain.

“Agreed, assemble your weight team and leave as soon as you’re ready.” Renato said to her.

“O’Connell and Thorne you’re with me.” Mira call Dad if he headed over to the turbolift area.

Malek looked over to the away team, he hoped they would be able to get some much needed intel on the Vaadwaur. It could help Starfleet figure out, why they openly attack. They’re had to be more than their pure simple divine right to attack. Malek, did not think divine right was a profitable endeavour.

Zara was monitoring communications at the moment. Surprisingly the area was very quiet. This was a bit strange to her. She was expecting some subspace chatter. The only chatter going on, was on the bridge of the USS Paso Robles.

Reeve and Jaxon both headed over to the turbo lift doors as well, and then all three of them looked over to the captain before going into the turbo lift as a door swished open.

“Good luck, hopefully you can get us some information.” Renato said, he was hoping that maybe they could download the ship’s database to find out why they attacked in the first place.

Location: Vaadwaur Patrol Vessel

Several minutes later the three person away team beamed over in their EV suits to the enemy shift. There was no power and no oxygen available. When they beamed over Mira immediately turned on her suits lights so she could be able to see more easily it was dark and probably cold because it had been exposed to the vacuum of space. However their suits, were heated for their comfort.

“Mr O’Connell I need you to try to restore power to the computer terminal. Mr throwing you’re going to help provide security, look for any kind of security measures once we restore the power systems I will assist you on that front.” Mira called out as she waited for the two to acknowledge her.

Right away, commander.” Both men said in unison. They both started to walk over towards the computer terminal. As Reeve feared there was no power source luckily he brought a small generator.

“Attempting to restore power to this terminal, Commander.” Reeves said as he knelt down by the terminal looking for a way to plug in his generator.

“Understood Mr O’Connell.” Mira said, and she started to walk over to the main part of the terminal itself. It looked pretty damaged she was hopeful though that they could get something out of it.

Location: USS Paso Robles, Bridge

“I wonder how it’s going over there?” Teral called out, from the Science Station.

T’Shan thought about it for a second and then she replied. “Lieutenant O’Connell should be attempting to connect the generator to their computer terminal to restore power in the area.” She explained to Teral. She just deducted what typical Starfleet training with have taught them to do in the situation.

Aria, Taren and Lira walked on to the bridge, they were curious to see the results from the away mission.

“Just in time please take your stations enjoying the madhouse.” Renato suggested to all three officers that just came on the bridge.

“You didn’t tell me all the fun was going to be up here on the bridge.” Lira said as she looked over to T’Shan.

T’Shan just raced her eyebrow with an intrigued look on her face, she wasn’t sure what to say to that comment. It was too emotional and a little chaotic in the sentence structure to really make sense to her. “I was also unaware of the fun.”

Lira had a big smirk on her face, she appreciated the fact that in her own vulcan-like way she was trying to be humorous.

Taren was a little surprised to see that T’Shan had a sense of humor. He had heard Lira, talk about it but he had never actually seen it.

“Shall I hail the away team, captain?” Aria asked if she walked over to the Tactical station.

“Let’s give them a little more time.” Renato suggested, as went on. “Doctor I want you to scan the area make sure there are no signs of Vaadwaur ships in the area.

Aria did not detect any. “Negative on the can captain, looks like this is the only one in the area or what’s left of it.”

“Until the away team is back. I want continuous scans.” Renato ordered. He didn’t want to be surprised by any unwelcome visitors.

Location: Vaadwaur Patrol Vessel

Mira, Reeve and Jaxon were all on the patrol vessel. So far things seemed to be going to plan, when Reeve managed to set up the generator. However he was frustrated and so was the rest of the away team.

The computer terminal did not appear to have any information stored in its memory buffers. Was this intentional or was it by mistake? It was unclear to them, and without the ship being in tact, they would not be able to determine it.

“DARN IT.” Reeve called out, as they were in limbo. “I can not download anything, there is nothing on the buffers, Commander.”

“Understood, perhaps the console was damaged in the explosion, and can not be salvaged.” Mira suggested to Reeve.

“If that’s the case, how did the computer know to restore power and the lights?” Jaxon asked, as he brought up a good point.

“Are there any other terminals in this area of the ship that are still intact?” Mira asked, hoping to find another source to test out her theory that the computer core’s are wiped out on purpose.

Jaxon took out his tricorder and started to scan. “This way, Commander.” Jaxon suggested to Mira. He was already half way across the corridor.

“Give me a second to disconnect this generator.” Reeve said, so they can power that terminal. After a few moments, he grabbed the generator and started to walk with them.

As they tested the next generator, the same results. Mira was most annoyed. “This has to be by design.”

“It appears to be the case, do we want to try to find another terminal?” Reeve asked, he had a feeling that she would say yes.

“Yes, we need to verify the terminal is wiped out.” Mira said, as they powered down the generator went to the next terminal and had no luck with it. After that Mira contacted the Captain.

=A=”Captain, we have a problem over here. The computer terminals have been wiped, it could be a byproduct of the ship blowing up.”=A= Mira avised Renato. She waited for his response.

=A=”That is unfortunate, please return to the Paso Robles, so we can make our way back to Overwatch Station. Gutierrez out.”=A= Renato said, as the away team beamed back to the USS Paso Robles.
