Zhelu

Zhelu has worked hard to shake the stereotypes and associated stigma of being an Orion servicing in Starfleet.

True, the Operations Officer of the USS Astute admittedly does have some relatives whose business interests still run to the extralegal and yes – her background does give her a distinct advantage when it comes to managing the supply and demand aspects of starship logistics – but Zhelu is determined to be recognised for her own efficiency and merit.

Zhelu is streetwise and high observant, with a mind that is very detailed orientated.

Coming from a large “merchant” family, she has a good head for figures and organization comes easily to her.

Socially she is confidence enough, but is always wary that someone will cast her Orion heritage in a negative light, so is slow to trust and form meaningful relationships with others.
