An unlucky little ship whose misfortune spared her something far, far worse, USS Omaha (NCC-86409) just barely dodged the horrors of Frontier Day 2401 thanks to a collision with a freighter. She’s since sat, empty, her crew reassigned to vessels that needed them more and her repairs slowing to a crawl as efforts were diverted to more urgent cases.

Now, her repair and overhaul finally nearing completion and her complement filled with the former crew of USS Oakland, the plucky little frigate is finally, slowly getting back out and letting her canvas cups of white drive her through to new worlds, new life, and new civilizations. She may not often go where nobody has gone before, but her mission as part of Task Force 47 will still take her far out into the black, where friends and enemies alike lurk… and even so close to home, there may still be things yet to discover.
