Decks 6 & 7
The Auckland's bridge is located on Deck 2 and is typical of ships in the 2400's with the standard configuration of a slightly raised command platform and navigations and operations toward the front. Tactical occupies the station behind the command crew. With her more specialized function, the majority of the surrounding consoles are devoted to various engineering stations, with the remaining earmarked for scientific analysis.

The Auckland's primary sickbay is located in the Primary Hull with a configuration boasting seven ambulatory biobeds and one surgical biobed separated from the main room. 1 workstation is present in the main ward for the Chief Medical Officer or Nurse to monitor their patients and complete required paperwork. The Chief Medical Officer's office looks over the main ward with access from the main door to sickbay and open to those seated in the waiting room. This configuration ensures all patients are tended to quickly, efficiently and safely.

The vessel’s large aft shuttle bay contains myriad shuttles and utility vehicles to help the ship complete engineering support tasks including at least 16 Type-6A Shuttlecraft. These shuttles were named after various geographical and recreational locations in New Zealand such as the Ruapehu, Taranaki, Otago, Canterbury amongst others.
