The Constellation is a Constitution III-class explorer seeking to connect the dots between the mysteries of deep space exploration and uncertain diplomatic relations with the Romulan Free State.
USS Constellation is a Constitution III-class explorer assigned to the Fourth Fleet. It is currently under the command of Captain Taes. A team of civilian scientists from the Romulan Free State is permanently assigned to support the Constellation’s investigation of scientific mysteries beyond the charted edges of Federation space. Although the crew’s search for knowledge is vital, their paramount mission is to improve diplomatic relations between the United Federation of Planets and the Romulan Free State through both crews learning to work as one.
Captain Taes’ earlier adventures have been told aboard the USS Dvorak (Season One) and the USS Sarek (Season Two).

Constellation Explorer Squadron seeks to expand the boundaries of knowledge while strengthening the bonds of friendship, alliance, and loyalty. Constellation Squadron engages in this mission beyond Federation borders as well as within the decks and bulkheads of its own vessels. Charged with Starfleet’s earliest mission of exploration into the unkonwn, its crews specialise in solving scientific mysteries and parleying through diplomatic relationships. The unit is centred around the Constitution III-class USS Constellation, which has incorporated a team of Romulan Free State scientists among its crew to build a tenuous path towards alliance by coming together under a joint banner.
While Squadron Commander Taes began her mission of scientific cooperation with the Romulan Free State in September 2400 aboard the USS Sarek, the USS Constellation was launched in March 2401 at the height of the Dominion Incursion into the Deneb Sector. Subsequently, Constellation Squadron was formed in January 2401 to engage in its inaugural mission of discovery and diplomacy in the Delta Quadrant.

USS Constellation and USS Odyssey
The voices swirling through Taes’s mind mimicked the sound of her voice masterfully, and yet she felt no sense of control over them. The thoughts came unbidden, like an infernal machine was generating them from deep inside her. Something of her but separate. Surfacing words like [...]

USS Constellation and USS Odyssey
Captain’s Log, Supplemental. It’s over. We made it. I’m over. In a shared ultimatum, Commodore James McCallister and I offered the Vaadwaur Supremacy a choice on behalf of Starfleet and the Delta Coalition. We offered to cease our hostilities if they agreed to a ceasefire and a [...]

“Commodore’s log, stardate seven-nine-three-seven-four. Peace has finally been achieved. It’s been several days since the cease-fire with the Vaadwaur Supremacy was agreed upon. The ramifications of that deal have spread across the galaxy and have been felt by many. The Vaadwaur war machine [...]

Explosions rippled across the black void as the Odyssey’s three sections moved with surgical precision, like talons of a bird of prey. The Telemachus arced around the burning husk of a Vaadwaur juggernaut, flanking it from above with pulsing phaser barrages that carved glowing fissures in its [...]
