A terraforming project on the class k planet Kintara III within The Triangle region is underway to make the planet habitable for sustained colonization. Overseen by Henderson Industries, a civilian company that equips colonial ventures. Suddenly a malfunction on the terraforming platform leads to a cascading series of failures. Within minutes the once flourishing ecosystem of Kintara III collapses. The primary terraforming station begins to evacuate after noticing a series of system failures however, before all of the occupants can withdraw a catastrophic explosion kills everyone who remained aboard. The remaining personnel and ships are instructed to evacuate the system and a no fly zone is placed in the area. The Paramount alongside the Neptune has been dispatched to investigate what caused the malfunction and if the planet is still viable for continued terraforming.
